My name is Barbara Wilmot and BW Consulting is the company through which I offer my Business Development Services, Training and Consultancy.

I work with people and processes to help companies:

  • Enhance their communications with clients and internal departments
  • Build pipelines of new business
I have helped a number of professional services companies, principally in the Market Research sector, increase their client base and more effectively leverage their existing client base to increase sales. You can find out more about me by following the "About" link.

I offer a variety of services at all points in the Business Development Lifecycle, from strategy and planning, through to running the projects to deliver revenue. This can include developing campaigns, formulating effective pitch presentations and training staff in client relationship building. My intention is always to offer complete marketing and sales services to companies and to help them develop the commercial acumen (i.e. awareness and activities) of their staff.

A French speaker with a lifelong interest in languages, I am sensitive to the cultural issues and language needs of non-native as well as native speakers of English, who all need to communicate effectively in business today with ever diversifying audiences.

As a holder of Cambridge’s CELTA, the internationally recognised English Language Teaching qualification, I am well versed in teaching English as a foreign language in a business context.

For both native and non-native speakers of English, my business training courses cover:
